Advanced Ag, LLC

Advanced Ag is a new generation ag input supplier. They work with growers as an independent crop consulting service. Separating service from product sales allows an unbiased recommendation. Advanced Ag is locally owned and managed by Cody Shay.

Creston Bean Processing, LLC

Creston Bean Processing LLC is a soy hexane bean extraction crushing plant. Constructed in 1998, the plant has the capabilities to process soybeans into high protien products for animal and human consumption and soybean oil which is utilized in the food industry for further processing. The plant can produce up to 600 tons of meal or white flakes daily.

DeBruce Grain

The Creston location was acquired by DeBruce Grain in 2002. With capacity for 8 billion bushels, the Creston facilities handle corn, soybeans and Non GMO Soybeans. Creston provides grain for local sales and export to Mexico. A rail track capacity of 110 cars for shipping and is served by the BNSF Railway Company.

Farmer's Cooperative Company

Farmers Cooperative is headquartered in Afton, IA. It is a full service coop, servicing all livestock, fencing and agronomy needs, plus much more. Farmers Cooperative has several locations in South Central Iowa.

Green Valley Chemical

Green Valley Chemical has been a producer of the agriculture fertilizer anhydrous ammonia, for over 40 years. Built in 1965, the plant was an organizational effort of a local group of agriculture dealers who joined together for the local prodcution of the fertilzer. In 1976, Midwest Carbonic was introduced as a subsidiary of GVC to take the by-product of anhydrous ammonia prodcution, carbon dioxide, and convert it into liquid CO2 and the production of dry ice.

Farley's & Sathers Candy Co., Inc.

Orignially built in 1986, the Trolli brands candy facility has 200,000 square feet. It contains six lines of production and additional packaging lines allow Trolli brands to be packaged in a variety of package types including peg and laydown bags, tubs, pouches and bulk. Farley's & Sathers Candy Company, Inc. purchased the Trolli(R) brands and the Creston facility in 2005.

Gits Manufacturing in Creston, Iowa is a leading manufacturer of automotive components and assemblies, service a worldwide customer base, specializing in Turbocharger Control Products, EGR Valves/Emission Control Productions, Position Feedback Actuators, Chemical Tank Vents, Lubrication Devices, and custom OEM Assemblies. In opeartion since 1946, CIPCO is headquartered in Cedar Rapids, with offices in Creston. The Summit Lakes Generating station located in Creston is owned and operated by CIPCO and has the generation capacity of 92MW.
